Cleaning filament

The cleaning filaments enable you to purge the nozzle of your 3D printer. They are used like traditional filaments, simply extrude the filament between 10 and 20 centimetres to dispose of the material remaining in the printer's extrusion system.

Provided with a very broad melting temperature, the cleaning filaments are useful for unclogging a nozzle or for properly cleaning the extruder between two filaments that have different melting temperatures (transition from PLA to ABS or vice versa).

Directions for use for cleaning filament

It is recommended to use the cleaning filament regularly enough to prevent the clogging resulting from an accumulation of residue in the nozzle. In addition, the filament enables cleaning of the nozzle and removal of all residues of the filament used previously, this filament is ideal for producing print templates in various colours, but if you want to change the colour of your coil, cleaning your nozzle allows you to purge it and print in a different colour without the latter being affected by the colour used previously.
Once the cleaning filament has been used and your nozzle cleaned you can very easily remove filament deposit from the plate using a spatula, you can find all its tools in the accessory section of our website.
The cleaning filament is a filament produced by ESUN, a Chinese brand renowned for its varied and affordable range of filaments for the FDM 3D printer. 10 to 15 cm of filament are sufficient to completely clean your nozzle.
