This 3D printing material, polycarbonate-ABS (PC-ABS) is an incredibly tough alloy designed for strong, resilient items. This unique material provides major improvements in terms of heat deformation, impact resistance, rigidity and flexibility.
What are the material requirements?
PC-ABS is a high-performance material that produces excellent prints, although it is likely to deform during the print process if the temperatures are not compatible. A heated bed (110°C is optimal) and 260°C for extrusion are required.
How to store PC ABS
PC-ABS is very sensitive to humidity and must be stored in a bag with a sachet of desiccant (anti-humidity).
You have to play around with the printer settings to determine what works best on your machine: 110°C for the plate and 260°C for extrusion are good settings for this filament.
