This filament has been specially designed for electronics (card holders, connectors...) and is commonly used in the automotive industry (Li & MH batteries, connectors, electrical equipment...) and for outdoor applications (solar panels connections...).The INSUBLEND polymer matrix (halogen-free) is certified fireproof V-0* and flame retardant according to UL 94** certification (with a 5VA index of 2.5 mm).
INSUBLEND filament is treated against UV radiation and resists exposure to oxygen. INSUBLEND is also resistant to alkaline, acid and alcoholic solutions and is particularly suitable for outdoor applications.
*V-0 = combustion stopped within 10 seconds on a vertical piece with possible effusion of unignited fused particles.
