Description

PETG Carbon Fibre 1.75mm

Filament produced in France by the Nanovia company, based in Brittany.

This filament, for industrial and consumer use, is characterised by its low stiffness and high carbon content which makes it less brittle. It is particularly used in the paramedical field for making leg prostheses or connecting parts for wheelchairs.

Printed parts are extremely durable and can be sanded and worked using standard post-printing processes.

The carbon fibre size distribution has been specifically selected to suit standard print nozzles. The combination of a precise mix of carbon fibre and size selection provides excellent features for parts in PETG / Carbon without clogging the nozzle while avoiding serious abrasion problems to printing equipment.

These carbon fibres are calibrated from pure recycled carbon fibres to suit 3D printing extrusion nozzles of 0.4 mm or more, and so prevent clogging of the nozzle, which often occurs with standard carbon fibre (standard deviation: 155.3)

Features:

- Less brittle
- Mechanically resistant
- Recycled carbon fibres

Precautions:

The carbon fibres are not dangerous in health terms. However, if sanding or machining, short fibres and carbon dust can cause irritation to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract.
