How to use D-Limonene

D-Limonene is a powerful citrus-based solvent, used to dissolve HIPS filaments (print support material).

On a double-headed printer (double extrusion), the HIPS filament is used to create the support structures for parts printed in ABS, and will disappear after dissolving in D-Limonene.

Once printing is complete, simply immerse the printed piece in the D-Limonene for a few hours and see the support structures disappear.

The D-Limonene solution can be reused after filtration.
